Hollee's Journey to the First Canton Fair: Unforgettable Memories of 1994                                                                                        

In the spring of 1994, the young Hollee Fashional made a bold decision - to participate in the 75th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair). This decision became an important milestone in our journey to the international market.

At that time, we were just a fledgling raincoat supplier in Shijiazhuang. The whole company was fully energized for this exhibition. Before the trip, our founder, Mr. Liu, personally checked each sample and repeatedly urged, “The material should be strong and the buttons should be firm, which represents the level of 'Made in China.'

Although the booth was not big, we greeted every customer with the fullest enthusiasm. The most popular product was our PE rain poncho & PVC raincoat; many European and American buyers praised the waterproof performance and durability. What we are most proud of is that a German customer signed an order of 50,000 dollars on the spot after careful inspection, and this partner still maintains close cooperation with us today.

In that era of international trade, there was no electronic mail or video conference. We brought thick product catalogs and relied on calculators and pens, and paper to talk business. Every day after the exhibition, the team would get together to review the customer feedback of the day, often discussing late into the night.

It was at this Canton Fair that we gained our first international customers and felt the pulse of the global market for the first time. The experience we gained at the fair laid the foundation for the international certifications such as ISO9001 and Sedex.

30 Years have flown by. From the small booth to today's service in Europe and the United States market, Hollee Fashional’s internationalization road began in the spring of 1994, which marked the full beginning. Every time we recall that period of passionate years, it always makes people feel a lot of feelings: the original heart does not change, so that always does!
